Message from your Principal

Dear students, parents, and guardians,
It is with great joy that I welcome you to a new school year as your principal. My name is Alyre Morin, and I am truly grateful to be part of this wonderful school community.
To our dedicated teachers and staff—thank you for the care and commitment you bring to our students each day. Your work creates the foundation for everything we do together.
This year, we are also blessed to welcome three new teachers, two new educational assistants, and a new vice-principal to our school family. Each of them brings unique talents, experience, and enthusiasm, and I know they are excited to begin this journey with us. Their presence will strengthen our team and enrich the learning environment for our students.
To our students—you are the heart of our school. Each of you brings unique gifts, energy, and dreams. My hope is that you feel safe, inspired, and supported as you learn, grow, and discover the person God is calling you to be.
To our parents and guardians—I deeply value the partnership between home and school. Your encouragement, support, and involvement in our school community play an essential role in helping our students thrive. Together, staff, students, families, and parish form the strong roots that allow our children to flourish.
This year, we are especially excited to launch our Green STEM program, a learning initiative inspired by Laudato Si’. Through hands-on projects, inquiry, and innovation, our students will explore how faith, science, and stewardship of creation come together. We look forward to seeing their creativity and leadership grow as they learn to care for our common home.
Our Division Theme for this year is “Growing Together in Christ’s Love.” Rooted in the words of Jesus, “I am the vine; you are the branches…bear much fruit and become my disciples” (John 15:5,8), we are reminded that our strength, growth, and purpose come from Christ. Together, as branches of the same vine, we will nurture faith, hope, and love in our school community.
As we begin this new academic year, may the peace of Christ fill our classrooms, our hearts, and our homes. May God bless each of us with wisdom, patience, and joy in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Alyre Morin
Principal
